| 内容記述 | The refrigerators play an important role in the diet of our modern society. They prevent food from spoiling and enable us to store it for a certain period, while at the same time providing us with “cold deliciousness”. However, it is only in the last few decades that refrigerators have become widely used in human society. What impact has the advent of the refrigerators had on human eating habits, and how have societies accepted it? Based on a field questionnaire-based survey in a village community of the Dusun in Borneo, where refrigerators have become widespread over the past decade, this paper examines the role and significance of refrigerators in this community and the changes they bring to the traditional food practice. |
