<dc:description>In order to explore the nature of experiences that foster creativity in early childhood, the author focused on “tinkering,” in which various phenomena, tools, and materials are directly tinkered with. In this study, we conducted a workshop for older children using a “wind tube,” a device that explores the buoyancy of familiar materials, and making something that can float with that device. Based on the activities of the target children, we will consider the effectiveness of tinkering activities that combine art and science in fostering creativity.</dc:description>
